BZI CEO James Barlow Announced as a 2023 Baldrige Leadership Award Recipient

The Baldrige Foundation Awards for Leadership Excellence recognizes leaders who provide ‘exceptionally outstanding support’ of organizational performance excellence in the United States and throughout the world. It is one of the most esteemed awards in business, given to a select few individuals each year who have made significant achievements worthy of this recognition. Our CEO James Barlow has been named one of those recognized for 2023.

“It is an honor that our CEO would be selected as a recipient of this prestigious award,” said Bob Hester, Chief Human Resources Officer at BZI. “It is a testament to the level of leadership and focused direction that James provides to the great team here at BZI.”

Through James’ leadership, the company has grown its revenue more than 10-fold, and its employee base to more than 450 over the course of five years. The exclusive innovations that BZI has developed during this time have improved the safety and efficiency of steel erection and fabrication, bringing remarkable impact to the entire steel industry. BZI has also developed a wholly unique training program at the company’s SteelTech Academy, and has built and maintained a culture of teamwork, innovation and action across the organization.
