BZI has developed fabrication capacity to support the initiative to improve schedules and optimize steel detailing for safer and more efficient work practices. Our fabrication facility located in Cedar City, Utah is capable of producing approximately 2,500 ton/month of finished steel product.

Along with steel erection and fabrication services, BZI has developed efficient systems, processes and equipment for the assembly of insulated metal panel (IMP) walls.
Our Capabilities
This building consists of 15,000 tons of structural steel and 10,000 tons of joists and deck. The team consistently set 60-70 panels per day, setting a total of 3,000 panels. The sequencing for this building was done differently than BZI's typical approach, and the project schedule was the tightest BZI has ever completed. The main box was erected in only 16 weeks.
